My co-worker and I are experiencing some issues when using CR2008 - v12 when attempting to pull data from Sales Force (winter 14 rel) into Crystal. This report worked fine until Nov 25. Since then it has not run. We use Business Objects to auto generate and email the report to a small (7) group of people. If I run the 'report in Sales Force, it works great.
When I try to run the report right of Crystal, I get two error's - Failed to retrieve data from the database and Database Connector error - 'Unexpected'
I tried to attached the actual screen shot of the error (.jpg files), but get an error - The content type of this attachment is not allowed - when trying to post.
I tried following a tip that suggested that I edit the CRConfig.xml file settings.
<JVMMaxHeap>72000000</JVMMaxHeap>
<JVMMinHeap>64000000</JVMMinHeap>
I increased the limits as I thought that I may have more data, but I am still getting the error.
If it helps. I have a Win7 - 32bit, with 4GB RAM and 200GB of free hard drive space.
It should be noted that the report file resides on a network share so both my co-worker and I can make changes if needed. I get the same results if I copy the file locally as well.
If the entire .xml is needed, I will upload it when requested. Any help is appreciated.
