We have configured Sourcing9 recently in as a Dev environment. We have observed strange server behavior. Today we were trying to create RFx and publishing them to suppliers for responses. We have seen those Rfx are not publishing to suppliers.
We have checked & confirm timezone and Rfx schedule. Then we have observed after points after visiting setup administration section:-
Setup > System administration->Administrative Reports->Background Task Status->
- Daemon Registration:- heartbeat is showing 16-08-2013 10.30PM(EST). There are no heartbeat entry which is not showing today’s date.
- Pending Daemon Events:- all the events are going in pending status & system is not showing any value for “Next retry time”.
I hope server restart will help here but I think this is not the correct solution. In Dev environment server restart is fine but we can’t go for such frequent server restart in Production environment. We have done server restart in past when server is not triggering the workflow events.
Please let me know if we forget to do any basic server configuration or property setting.
